Colorado American Saddlebred Futurity

The futurity is governed by the Colorado American Saddlebred Horse Association and the Denver Queen City Horse Show hosts Colorado Saddlebred Futurity classes.  Please see the DQCHS tab on this web site for information and a complete schedule of classes.

Classes have changed!!

Starting in 2020, the Colorado Futurity will ONLY be offering a two-year-old in harness class and a three-year-old under saddle class.  Horses may be nominated from birth OR can buy into the class the year they plan to show.  Please see the Nomination Form for the complete set of rules, fees, and deadlines.

Please view the Nomination Form for the complete set of rules, fees, and deadlines.  Weanlings and yearlings must be nominated by December 31st of the respective year and two-year-olds and three-year-olds must be nominated by June 15th.  A grace period of 10 days for an additional fee is allowed for two and three-year-olds.  

Points for winners in all classes count as futurity points toward their respective Saddlebred sires.

Be sure to remember that two-year-olds and three-year-olds ARE ELIGIBLE to compete in the Colorado Futurity without being nominated as weanlings or yearlings!
